Is it me or winter in the uk seems to be going on forever? I think what also does not help is the fact that majority of us have not been able to be near a beach and enjoy some much needed sun thanks to COVID-19.
For me the combination of central heating and having an overly sensitive skin has wrecked havoc on my skin.
Alongside this I also was diagnosed with Urticaria at the end of 2019, which basically is a disorder that occurs when a trigger (this could be anything and very hard to pinpoint) causes high levels of histamine and other chemical messengers to be released in the skin. As a result you are left with hives that are very itchy and red (I will spare you the gory details).
Thankfully, I have been getting treatments for this via injections that are administered once a month for the last 6 months. Which have been wokring really well with my flare ups only occuring once or twice a month.
However, my skin has been left with tiny scars due to the condition and after looking into all varieties of creams, I have come across two combinations that have not only help fade the scars but provide a heavy dose of moisture.
Diprobase Eczema Cream – this product is designed for Eczema sufferers but my specialist said it works well for extremely dry and sensitive skin types too.
Bio Oil – this oil contains calendula, lavender, rosemary, and chamomile, all of which help to reduce scars and pigmentation.
After showering I take one pump of the cream and mix it with 3 drops of the Bio Oil, after using this for almost a year now I can happily report that my skin is slowly but surely coming back to its original condition.
Have any of you heard of these two products if yes, what was your experience like in using them?
