Estee Lauder ANR Review

I doubt I remember exactly how or when I became a little obsessed with skincare. I think what I do recall is for the first time in ages I have started to feel more confident in my own skin.

For those of you who are new to my blog let me summarise my skin story, I suffer from adult acne and vitiligo, both of which were at their worst at the end of 2018 due to stress.

Over the last few years I have taken certain measures that have helped my skin a great deal e.g cut out diary, drink more water, more veggies and a great skincare routine.

Alongside all this one of the biggest skincare products that have helped my skin to look hydrated, and above all smooth is the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. This is the key to my and i hate to say this younger looking skin.

A little tip that I got from a from one of my best friends while at uni was that you are never too young to introduce an anti ageing serum.

So over the last 5 years (on and off) I have been using ANR as part of my nightly routine to help keep those pesky lines and wrinkles at bay.

So first let me explain what it actually is, ANR is a serum that has Hyaluronic acid which hydrates and and reducing the signs of ageing, Tripeptide-32 which helps your skin cells to repair and rebuild, Retinyl Palmitate (Retinol) which essentially is a form of vitamin A that helps fight acne, reduce wrinkles, stimulate collagen, and promote cellular turnover.

The product comes in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml pump bottle take two drops ( little goes a long way here) and massage into your skin (note that the texture of the serum is quite tacky so don’t be alarmed), leave it on overnight to see great results.

After using this serum I have found my skin to be soft, hydrated and smooth at first but over time I have noticed my skin tone and texture to improve (its all those antitoxidents packed in that work).

The only negative about this product I would say is the hefty price tag £58 for 30ml. £78 for 50ml and £95 for 100ml.

So I tend to only use this 3 times a week and always buy at duty free.

But if there is one thing I can say with all honesty its that this is an all round great product for your skin and a great investment.

What serums have you used that have made a big difference to your skin?
